I read it, and as soon as I got to "Shitbag", I about spit out my chew. |
I went to see them back in the day as many of us may have. 1980ish.
Outside in Syracuse cops putting out your joint as soon as you lit it. The show was great...if you can get past them arguing on stage thru the night and it being obvious to everyone that it was going on. Crowd whispering about it and all. Even the reviews mentioned it. They were also too fcked up to do their songs justice. Of course it was during the time frame where it was known they were no longer jerking each other off on the bus. But to this day It has always left a bad taste in my mouth. |
They don't do much for me. I likea few songs, but not enough to spend the money.
I'd love to see Cheap Trick again though. |

Only 9000? Seems like kind of a small crowd for Sprint Center?

Word of mouth on this tour has been bad, and rightfully so. Saw them in Denver and it was the most mailed-in performance I've ever seen by any band. They simply can't do it anymore.

I saw them about 10 years ago at Sandstone. Good show, but I know longer care to watch a bunch of geezers on stage trying to reclaim their glory years. Unless you're talking about Rush. Those ****ers can still bring it. |

9000 people on a Wednesday night in the Midwest is an awesome draw. |
