Alex was not the top of his position. He might have had a higher QB rating, but he did not have a better overall season than the elite qbs in this league.

Top qb in the NFL does not lose six of seven and then pass for 35 yards in the second half while choking a playoff game.

Alex gave us everything he has, you have to respect that. i appreciate him winning as much as he did. I feel bad for him, would have loved to win a championship with him but...
We are fortunate to have Mr. Mahomes, lets move on! I wish Alex all the best and appreciate that he did all he could.

His second half performance today didn't surprise me. I've said all along he has no killer instinct. He will never bring you back when it counts. He just doesn't have it in his DNA. This is why he was not selected for the Pro Bowl. The players and coaches know what he is.
