Yeah, you could buy 20 regular fans or a pretty nice AC for that kinda money...

Just goes to show that not <i>all</i> products can be improved by applying hi-tech means...

It has blades, they are just in the base of the unit... and it is supposedly quite loud.

Now now....there was PLENTY of fan noise at Arrowhead last Sunday.
It was all for the Cowboys, but let's come correct here...

BTW: Paying $300 for a fan is for eccentric people. Like buying a fur lined sink or a leather stapler (like the one on Carl Peterson's old desk).

I saw a video of this the other day, and people standing a few feet from it didn't even have hair moving standing in the stream. overrated, just like the airblade.
