worst case is Sanders Commings contributes nothing and Sutton still sucks
best case is Sanders Commings is just another future Pro Bowler Sutton has no idea what to do with.

so, the same.

When I learned that Kelce and that C from Philly were brothers, for whatever reason I've just had a difficult time taking him seriously. At the same time though, it gives me the vibe that we may end up having him on the squad for a while. I dunno, just a hunch.

We havent had much luck with tight ends or safeties lately, thats for sure.

Only one of the last three safeties has done anything, Menzie didnt make it past his first year, Commings barely played.

Then at tight end, O'Connell sucked out loud and Fasano was dinged up half the time... it would sure be nice if Commings and Kelce could get it together next year.

We need a dominant TE. Kelce can be that, I say he starts next year but we'd be wise to look at other options. I think Commings will be a player, really do, good speed, but also a scenario where we need to consider all possibilities.

I think we need to look at upgrading both positions. It's not like we're deep at either one...

Mr. Laz 01-08-2014 11:00 AM

we can't count on either so we have to have more options at FS and TE going into next season.

Agreed.

Two glaring weaknesses that were exposed in the playoff game.

I for one, was a huge supporter of the Kelce get. But, then when he did play in the preseason, he didn't look good. Dropped a lot of passes. He came in with Injury issues, then got hurt, and didn't play at all.

And with Commings. he looks the part. I just wonder if he is going to be ever play the part because of injuries.

Eric Ebron round one, Tre Boston round 3 looking better and better in all honesty.

Travis Kelce appears to have big-time upside. He has health / maturity issues -- I wonder what the regime thinks of him going forward on those fronts. I think we'll know on draft day.

Kendrick Lewis is the awesome combination of slow and low football IQ.

He would have fit in so well with Greg Wesley.

Isnt his knee injury possibly career ending? That was the word when it happened, but I cant find any more info on that.

Wesley could at least hit.

Didn't wrap up and tackle worth a $3it but he'd lower the boom once every two weeks or so...

i remember Kelce dropping the shit out of the ball in preseason.
