Cast Iron is great for Pot Roast, frying steak fries in Crisco, making pancakes and many other great things. Stainless steel is good for a stir fry, sauteing onions and garlic, light sauces, grilled cheese, and the list goes on like this. |

I just got a really nice set of stainless steel/aluminum base pans for christmas.. cooking eggs on stainless steel is quite painless, but some stuff likes to stick.
Get a small stainless steel and save yourself the hassle of seasoning that cast iron pan if its just for eggs. One spray of cooking oil and the eggs come out perfect in no time flat. |
