I'd have still said Thomas and (ugh) Clady were better than him; at least more versatile. Hell, Jason Peters would've been in that discussion as well; he was great when healthy.

I don't argue that he wasn't a very good tackle (he was). But the best? I can't see it.

He was also overrated those years too. In one of them Peppers whipped his ass to a level rarely seen in the NFL. He had at least three sacks against him and multiple other pressures.
