Well, it's been since Tuesday since I heard from Netgear. They were bumping me to the next level of support. I sent another email to them yesterday since I hadn't heard from them. Still nothing. So I returned the router and got a Linksys WRT610N. Installation was a breeze. Problem resolved. Files downloaded and installed without an issue.

****! ****! ****! My router bricked last night. ****ing thing is only 8 months old. Funny thing is it works as a pass through device. I can connect to the internet wired, but not wirelessly. Can't reset it. Can't connect to it to flash the firmware. On a call with linksys and they are probably going to replace it. ****.

I can't take all those asterisks.
