What a sack of shit.
This makes the midfield punt even worse.

I have to say that similar circumstances in the past would indicate that he probably would have kicked it, but maybe he learned something from those failures.
Maybe not.

I don't believe that useless SOB is capable of learning.

Terrible idea. Manning only needing a Field goal to win with a minute left. Better shot in OT because you at least get the ball.

Manning STILL would have gotten the ball with a minute left.....:spock:

He hasn't seemed to learn from many of his failures. Like moving away from running the ball when it's working.
It repeatedly bites him in the ass, and yet......

Bull Shit.

I think he probably is telling the truth.

He onside kicked it on the opening ko against us once, then iirc in another game tried it again after the half...

Why would they not use the TO to set that play up AFTER they scored a TD? What purpose would it make to call a TO to design the next next play?

Because...I said something stupid and I got busted before I could delete it.

you want to trust our shitty defense to not give up a big play?

Neither option is ideal, I'm simply picking the one that maximizes our odds of winning. You can either pick option A in which you run one play and have virtually no margin of error, or option B where there is a greater margin of error and nothing is finite.

Considering our offense, B makes more sense.

The sense of urgency is less obviously since if they are trailing they have to go all out, go on 4th down etc. which makes a FG more likely. If it is around 30 seconds, it makes more sense to go for 2. With Fox as opposing HC and a tie game, he probably runs out a tester play or two and if it fails he probably plays for OT.

Yep. This is exactly what I thought when I read the OP.

Vermeil would have went for two.
