Bought in-laws a kindle fire last year for Christmas and they've loved it.

I'd buy one when/if I need another tablet.

Just fyi, if you just bought it. Even though the vendors are saying yes by christmas. I have read that all the shippers fedex/ups/usps are saying they are not guaranteeing anything.

My Amazon gifts are for adults, and most of them don't know they're getting anything.

If it's late, they can get right the **** over it.:D

Wife and I both got I-Pads through u.s. cellular where we have our phones, we run them on our wifi at home and anywhere else but very nice to use them when on the road, wife has to drive more now. We use them ALOT around the house very handy and easy to use and I had never used an apple product!
