I don't see the need to call this movie Point Break. It could have been any movie with it's own name. I suppose they use the name to get butts in seats but it looks nothing like the original except I saw a guy surfing, a guy named Bode and Johnny Utah.

Isn't the guy at 32 seconds on the trailer saying,"why not deploy your chute over the jungle..." one of the original ex-presidents.looks like the shot dude that said ,"see you in hell Johnny" before Brodie pushed him out of the plane.

James Le Gros, who played Roach in the original. Not the same guy. He does kind of look like him though

Fans of the original also have a few moments here to hang their hats on. You may notice that one of the men in Johnny Utah’s briefing is played by James Le Gros, who plays Roach in the original ("You’re cold because all of the blood is running out of your body, Roach. You’re going to be dead soon.")

I watched The November Man the other day and was floored at what a terrible actor Luke Bracey is. Just the worst I've seen in years. Glad to see he's still starring in movies.

Cool. It did look like him, but he is not credited on iMDB.
