Anyone who has been watching jake 3 out of the last four games, I didn't watch last weeks closely enough, but in those games he has thrown 13 balls right in the breadbasket of the defenders and luckily for him only had 2 picked off. This could turn out very ugly come playoff time against a good team.

yeah, in a couple of years you could forget you had the , but we can never forget that Grbac was our QB... :banghead: |
4th is right where i'd put Green among AFC QBs as well.
He'd lead the league in completion % if he had Tomlinson in the backfield for all those check-downs I see Brees do, with most of them not being at all accurate. |

Plummer is a fine QB as long as he is not expected to carry the team on his shoulders. But let us be fair, how many QBs CAN carry the team? Plummer is going to give you some pretty good plays, but you have to take the amazingly stupid ones as well. As long as the running game is churning out the yardage, the stupid-to-good ratio is low and he looks like a very good QB. Put the onus of victory on him, and the ratio skyrockets. That is true of most QBs in the NFL. xoxo~ Gaz Thinks Plummer might do okay with KC’s Offense. [/QUOTE Plummer in KC's offense? I really don't think he could do it. Yes Trent benefits from a running game, all QB's do but Plummer has shown for years that he can't stay in the pocket and play well. He's only played well this year because Shanny has limited his decision making. He's not smart enough to run our offense. |
Plummber couldn't run KC's offense...a moran could run Denver's offense.

I'll still take Green, thanks, but...
Plummer with a good OL and a running game [ie: KC] is nothing to sneer at. xoxo~ Gaz Would rather not find out, though. |

Jake would stink in an offense like KC's. He just isn't accurate enough in the pocket.
On a related note, I shudder to think what Shanahan could do with a Mike Vick (or Vince Young) at QB. Or for that matter if Mora Jr, woul dever get wise and install a system similar to Denver's. He already has Gibbs cut blocking technique. |

I wouldn't be suprised if he crumbled somewhere down the stretch, when team start catching those INTs instead of dropping them. It will be fun to watch the media crucify him for the choke job. |

I agree. Jake is playing well this year, and I wouldn't qualify his picks as bonehead plays. One one pick he had a guy open in the endzone, but warfield tipped it into surtain's hands. Aside from his two picks, he played a whale of a game. Our defense had him dead to rights in several situations and he found somebody and gained major yardage. That said, our defense contained the running attack and plummer, kept us in the game, and in the end made a huge stop to win the game. It's a compliemnt to OUR DEFENSE, not a detriment to Jake Plummer. |

I think we are just seeing the "normal" Jake right now. He has had a nice string with no inteceptions but the Cowboys broke that streak and KC made sure he didn't start another one. For this reason and this reason only, I think Denver will have to be lucky to actually win the division.

People forget that Trent doesn't have a Chad Johnson or a Marvin Harrison.
Sure, he's got Gonzo, and he enjoys solid protection, but that doesn't hold a candle to Peyton Manning who gets all day to throw after handing off to a top 3 RB before throwing to the best collection of WRs in the NFL in a dome that suits their game. |
