He used to own one of the show halls down there.....and performed almost every weekend for about 2 years. But it got too competitive and he moved on...I think he was trying to set up something like he had in Branson in Gatlinburg, but backed off.

Actually, my favorite area of the country genre is bluegrass/folk, Allison Krauss and Union Station, Ralph Stanley, Emmylou, The Gaithers, Cowboy Junkies, Del McCoury, etc.

Alison Krauss.....now you're making me drool!!!!!!! I love her voice.....

Although she is not quite an "undiscovered talent" anymore, I still think she is the most under rated female country singer around.

She does a duet with Brad Paisley now called "Whiskey Lullaby' that is absolutely a killer.
