As much as I hate the Lambs, the guy was very deserving. Great player, class act.
And coryt brings up a very good point...Ray Lewis??? WTF??? How in the hell does a guy who witnessed a murder, lied about it and then snitched even in consideration? I know, he's paid his debt and is a very solid player and we should forgive yadda yadda yadda. It just irritates me that some folks (none here...well, maybe Kenny) still can't see that, while a person may be a great player, the type of person they are should matter. I'm not for a higher standard for athletes...just a standard would do fine. MM ~~Wonders if Elvis would win MVP if he won a playoff game...? ------------------ One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures. --George W. Bush |
I'll give props to Faulk....But of cource I was pulling for Gannon.
The man ,after being let go from 3 other clubs, took an 8-8 team, with what was considered medium tallent, and won the AFC west div. Sorry,,,but would really like to have seen him get it. ............GO Raiders |
And if it were Grbac in that situation(despite the continued doubts I have with him), I'd have wanted him to win the MVP. Believe that's called homerism, and proud of it!!
ct btw, raiders still suck |
Yeah, but Elvis has never won a playoff game!!

Brings up an interesting question, and this time it's not rhetorical, I genuinely do not know. What is the Great Bitchie's Richie Gannon's post-season record as a starting QB?
Believe he has started at least reg. season games for: Minnesota ? , Washington ? , KC (pretty sure no playoff STARTS in KC), Oakland (no playoff appearances here I know) Anyone? ct |
My preliminary research shows me that Rich Gannon has never won a playoff game!!!
Therefore, using the infallible Packfan logical deduction, Gannon is a worthless bum. OH, you should rid yourself of such a cap-sucking cancer, and find yourself an Elvis Grbac. ct |
