You should leave this BB and never come back. You're just a dyke troll who offers nothing and wastes board space. |

'Grbac got hurt and helped the team achieve a 13-3 season. When the Chiefs lost to Denver in the 1997 playoffs, some went so far as to suggest that had Gannon been the starter and not Grbac, who was just returning from injury, the team may have won and been on its way to its first Super Bowl in 27 years. As we look back on it now, Gannon was just what the team and its fans needed.' Can you imagine the above being on a Chiefs website if the front office didn't believe it???? No freakin way. |

They are speculating the same thing you are. They thought they had the ingredients for a SB team more than once. They were wrong then, too. |
Yea, that's absolutely iron clad innuendo. Incontrovertable evidence. Airtight case.
Nice job, Ironside. |

I don't really get what the whole big deal this is being made of.
Since the day Grbac was no longer a Chief CP has stated he wished he could go back and "stand on the Table" ( kinda like standing on table when he drafted Donnie Edwards and DV said he Stood on the table to Draft Jarred Allen) and declare Gannon the QB instead of Grbac. He hasn't had any problems admitting the mistake so I don't see how late to the party he is. This is no more than the Marcus Allen thing but backwards. If he would be worthy of the Hall of Fame there is nothing more that CP would love to see him go in as a Chief. It would create nothing but good pub for the team. Even aside from that, assuming Gannon goes into broadcasting or even coaching, Carl and the Chiefs will be the people who are backing him the most and probably his strongest references, not the Raiders and Al Davis. |
