Well, a $4M 1-year deal is pretty small. It depends on whether he wants base salary or SB. You can do a 1-year with a 2-year option, load up the SB, and work it out.

We have 3.5 million in cap space AFTER the rookie pool allotment. Why is it we can't sign him? Someone please explain because to me we are positioned perfectly to do so.
