Ahhh, got it. How is the original?

I haven't had a good nights sleep in 7 years. It can take me anwhere from 1 hour to 5 hours to fall asleep (usually somewhere in the middle of that number). Sometimes I do not sleep at all if I have to get up early. I get up at 7:30am every day and on most nights I'll go to bed at midnight or so and fall asleep anywhere between 3-5 am and usually wake up a couple of times before my alarm clock goes off.
If I didn't have a buddy who gave me aderol (sp?) it would be hard to get through a lot of days |
I went through a period, about 6 months ago, where I would wake up every morning at 4 am completely awake. I had a lot on my mind at that time and am pretty sure that was the reason for it, but it sucked all the same. I was averaging like 3 hours of sleep per night.

I'm too tired to answer. My kitties wake me up every couple hours.

I can be dragging ass all day but come 11 or midnight I'm wide awake, end up staying up too late and feel like crap the next day only to repeat again.

Rarely, maybe 5-8 times a year. Usually a Sunday night when I have slept in too much that day and the lingering stress of work is on my mind. I have noticed when I miss workouts the chance of having one of those nights increases. My pops noticed the same thing. He misses workouts he doesn't sleep as well.

I had a sleep disorder. It really bothered me. I would go to bed late at night, and get up really early in the morning. This happened to me on a consistent basis, for about 1 year. I had realized that both my body and mind weren't able to function properly. I went to see my family doctor, and at first he recommended sleep pills. I didn't want to go this route, so he suggested another idea, Sleep Lab clinic. I took this idea into consideration. I visited my Sleep Lab Clinic, and from my experience, it was the best thing I've ever done.
My sleep issues have been resolved. If your experiencing problems with sleep, take my advice, go to a Sleep Lab clinic. Get yourself monitored during sleep. You simply need to study your sleep to find out WHY, and what is causing you to not sleep well. |
for me its stress of hot liking my job, truck, and where i live.
being tied down with a mortgage and a dead end job dont help either |
One year in college I went from 6 hours of sleep a night to maybe 2 a night. I tried Melatonin (sp) and a ton of other stuff that worked for other people, but the only time I ever got more than a couple hours a night was when I went home. Hadn't happened in the 2 previous years, and didn't happen when I went back for my senior year, so I have no idea what caused it.
I have noticed that I need total darkness to fall asleep though. I had a windowless room at my parent's whenever I came home from college (the insomnia room was just as dark as other rooms in college)... and then when I moved, I spent a few nights awake before covering the window, and haven't had a problem since. |
