And the fact is, if his name wasn't Manning, and Archie wasn't his daddy, Peyton his brother, I highly doubt he would have stood up for "himself".

I felt that a player that has the options to control his future is wise to do so. It sucked that Elway ended up playing for the Broncos. I never hated Elway like a lot of you, just hated him as a division rival.

With Carl as our GM a player with that kind of leverage would be fool to negotiate with him. I would be upset, but not with the player, but because we have Carl and he causes such problems.

But the fact is, if he, and the Mannings can make this happen, others will eventually follow their lead, and that could eventually end the draft as we know it.

And the fact is, a lot of players with a choice won't want to play in KC.

It's not good for KC, and it's not good for the league, cause KC isn't the only place that would be affected negatively.

It won't matter who is the GM, the fact is that KC is not a destination of choice for a majority of people.

Exactly....KC, Green Bay, Jacksonville, etc......would be at an unfair advantage to such "Glamour" cities as New York, Chicago, Miami.

I've never cared for Mannings Big Man On Campus attitude but Little Manning has a different personality and he's almost as laid back as me and I like him. Now I like him even more.
