You know that is what DV would do.

Your hopes are higher than mine, I can see Priest eating Nachos in San Antonio next year..

If Priest comes back, he's just gonna have to be the backup. Period. Get 5-10 carries a game. Be ready in case LJ gets injured.
|
i would like to see priest back next year, but only to give LJ breathers during games and maybe occasional 3rd down back. it would be good to have him back for backup purposes next year.

We all know how great Priest is, but I do not see him accepting less than a starting role. I am sure he has a ego like all of us and he feels he is still starting material. Hopefully I am wrong and he does come back we could use him.

This could be a good situation
we got Priest on the bench wanting his old job back and LJ running angry to keep his they're both gonna try and prove themselve as long as it doesn't go back to alternating series the competion could drive them both to new hieghts |
Holmes would be a very expensive short yardarge back.
|
sure, as long as he don't get hurt or god forbid injured and out of a season or two.
|
Not sure about this, but how would Priest do as a wide receiver? Not on every snap but just occasionally.

He'd be good in the slot. He has great hands.

I believe that LJ, in the same situations against NE now would score TDs, where he didn't then. I'd like to see Priest back for another season, but not in a "Marcus Allen" role, but more of a "Marshall Faulk" role. LJ's time has come to be the man. It's time for Priest to take on the role of understudy. |
