Priefer is solid - Giants had #1 Special teams in the league last year (according to foxsports.net)
EDIT: They actually finished the season at #10. My bad. Blackmon looks to be a good pickup - Bills have had good LB play over the past couple of years IIRC. Not too sure about Matsko. Rams o-Line as been shaky AT BEST over the past 2-3 seasons. |

I could coach our O-line to a high level.
A one-eyed frog could coach 2 HOFers / 3 All-Pros / 4 Pro Bowl (caliber) players to great things. |
Welcome to the first "We're f*ked" thread of the 2006 season.

Shannon Sharpe says, "Mhif Solarah duh olime bee juice fime." And I believe him.

I swear to the misty heavens on high that I wish we had a one-eyed frog as an assistant coach.
That would be awesome!! FAX |

He could teach our o-line to jump out of their stances and wrap their sticky long tounges around opposing linebackers!!!
Or, would that be holding? FAX |
This thread is suddenly cast into the Zappa song, "Frogs with Dirty Little Lips".

I think it would probably fall under the category of "offensive tounging".
15 yards and loss of down. FAX |

My first reaction on the o-line coach is the same as everyone else's.
On further reflection, they don't have a true fullback at all and they certainly don't have a blocking tight end to match Jason Dunn. Having a good lead blocker like those two can cure a world of ailments. And lets not forgot how bad the Chiefs o-line got when Roaf went down this year. We'll know how good he is when we see if big Willie and Big Will up an retire this year. If they stick around, you can be sure Blackmon has their respect. They won't stay for somebody they don't think will get them some mileage. |
