No, KSU doesn't need illegal inducements to attract blue chippers. They are beating down the doors to get to beautiful downtown Manhattan.

Yea I have, North Kansas City School District, Liberty School District, Parkville School District and Lee’s Summit School District are all School Districts which support residents of the city of Kansas City, and in fact the majority of residents in the City attend these school districts.

Also you may want to look at the standards utilized by the state of Kansas for its schools; they are some of the lowest in the nation (although they are currently looking at raising those standards to be more in line with the avg. standards found in the US)

What does that have to do with anything?

Failure is written all over this district of 30,000 mostly minority students. The high school graduation rate was only 59 percent in 2000, compared to 79.5 percent statewide and about 80 percent nationally. More than 88 percent of Kansas City School District seventh graders are not proficient in reading, and more than 97 percent of 10th graders are not proficient in mathematics, according to the state education department.

Ok I know this is going to be hard for you, but the article you posted is about the Kansas City School District.

The Kansas City School District services less the half of the children in the city of Kansas City.

North Kansas City School District
Parkville School District
Liberty School District
Lee’s Summit School District
Independence School District

Educate more than half of the Children that reside in the City of Kansas City.
The name of school district has nothing to do with the cities or counties they reside in.

In other words, you're going to ignore the parts that don't agree with your pristine view of Missouri public schools. Why not, most of Missouri does it too.

You can't paint the whole state of Missouri with the KCMO school district brush. Talk to the voters who are electing the pathetic KCMO school board members.

Of course not. But you can apparently paint the entire state of Kansas with the religious brush, and be entirely accurate and justified.

Not ignoring anything, the Kansas City School District sucks, yet it services less than half of the students in the City of Kansas City.

The suburban school districts educate more than half of the students who reside in the city of Kansas City.

I was merely refuting your statement that the "Kansas City School Districts are the worst in the nation".

If you want to only talk about the Kansas City School District I concur the courts have made it the worst in the country, but if you want to talk about the School Districts that operate in the City of Kansas City lets talk about all of them and not broad brush them with the Kansas City School District stain.

What? You don't think some religion has anyting to do with the football program providing test answers to its players? What are you, some kind of a nut job?
