Carl will always obfuscate the truth for the betterment of his and Lamar's bottom line. Even if he returns, which I predicted the day he went down that he was finished for good, then he will not play for long if he suffers another grade 3 concussion. I doubt there would be a doctor who would clear him to play if he has another G3 concussion.

I just hope he is okay and we don't have another DT situation where we are just worried that he is going to play again, then bam he takes a bad turn. Bleeding in the brain is not a good situation-I hope they don't have to operate on him??

After the whole Willie Roaf debacle, I really don't think Trent would intentionally deceive anyone about the extent of his injuries. He seemed ticked like a lot of other players that Willie didn't talk to anyone and then just pulled a surprise announcement all of the sudden. If he says he expects to come back, then I believe him.

Nobody said he didn't want to play-I think he would play til he is 50 if they would let him.

TG would never deceive anyone-and I think from day one he expected to come back-but when you look at how long it has taken him to just drive to the stadium and say hi to the guys-it was a pretty bad injury.
