Thank God....I am not the ONLY one to realize that WWE etc. is NOT wrestling. It's GREAT athletes, putting on a scripted play.

Plenty of people enjoy the combination of elements, apparently.

Awesome. I'm still looking for the "it's not fake" type of fan.

I'd love to run into one, too. I'd have a field day with him.

1) That only proves there are 80,000 pieces of white trash who made the hitchhike from trailer park to stadium.

2) "ticket prices starting at just under 1000 bucks a pop." Really? Unless you have proof to the contrary I'm calling bullshit on this one.
Even if it was this expensive it doesn't change a thing: pouring syrup on shit does not make it pancakes.

3)The reference to GoChiefs living in his mom's basement is not, in fact, a thing of the '80's but a thing of today. n00b.

I'm guessing the parking lots surrounding Ford Field will become one giant meth lab that day. I honestly don't understand how anybody can enjoy spectatorship of oily roided up men embracing one another and dancing around in a ring for 20 minutes. It's absolutely baffling.

According to ticketmaster, the highest price tickets are 750. That's probably only the first 5 rows or so.

Redrum_69 01-25-2007 12:45 PM

Wheres the option for...

Tag Teaming Brooke Hogan...while wearing a boa and yellow tights at??

Yeah, that sounds more like it. Thanks.
The day fake wrestling commands ticket $$ comparable to the biggest corporate love-fest in the U.S. (superbowl) will be a strange day indeed.

To be fair, an outsider could easily point at you and wonder why you enjoy watching large men run and tackle each other on a field for 60 minutes.

Now that you mention it, my football fandom is pretty ridiculous. I really need a new hobby.
