Manning riddled the vaunted Bears defense. He took what they gave him and read the bad coverage on the TD pass when it was there. What more can you ask a QB? |
Bob Sanders deserved it.
|
They had already decided the game before it was played.
Anybody see any holding as Manning had all day. This was a meer formality. Poster boy Manning, |
Yeah, but still..........
Bob Sanders made the big play that put the game away. Manning just sat there and made a lob pass to a WIDE OPEN Wayne. Bob's pick was acrobatic |
I doubt I'll be worried who gets the MVP if/when the Chiefs ever win the Super Bowl.
|
I might be, in some situations. Like this year, somebody on the D deserved it. Last year, I thought was the right choice for MVP

ROFL Let it all out man, you'll live longer. |
12 plays, 89 yards, 6:56, touchdown
9 plays, 54 yards, 4:03, field goal 14 plays, 76 yards, 6:47, touchdown 13 plays, 56 yards, 7:34, field goal Watching the 3rd quarter last night got me thinking... these are Manning's 4 drives to open the second half of each playoff game (IIRC, the last was killed by a holding call). I wonder how many quarterbacks have been this good at making the adjustments at halftime, and then coming out and wearing down a defense that's just rested for 20 minutes (and maybe even made some adjustments themselves). The drive against the Chiefs killed us, the one against the Patriots was obviously the biggest drive of the game, and the drive against the Bears should have put them away (and it let an already-shaky Grossman sit on the sideline for half the quarter). I don't think anyone would mind him on their team. |
