Maybe they borrowed it to make you a gift since you were kind enought to disassemble the bed for them.

I'm sure that's what it was. I'm just glad it wasn't the Makita sliding miter saw that vanished. I have another impact driver. I don't have another miter saw.

You ever do any concrete work? I need to pour a couple of footing walls sometime in my garage, which is partially built like a pole barn.

Sorry to hear that.

I knew you would leave your garage open sooner or later.

I had to recover my fee somehow.

I have. It's not my favorite. Most people pour the footings and then put the garage up though. I'm not sure what local code is up there in North Missouri though.

Heh heh. You should have eaten more. ;)

Smed1065 03-03-2007 04:48 AM

I tried but I did my best. I had two dinners to go to before I arrived (happens when you only visit every five years).

You started a fight actually in my family but I won.

:shake:

I will be back this year and trying to talk you into cooking for it. Waiting for the schedule before I start begging.

Just inform them that you'll be taking the security footage of your garage to the police if they don't return the drill. This'll work unless theyre seasoned thieves who've gotten comfortable with falling foul of the law. Best part is even if you're wrong about it, the woman will probly still think the kid took it.

I wish they had poured a footing before they built it. It's quite a sight. It's a 25 X 25 garage, half of it is stick built, half of it is built like a pole barn. The pole barn half sits directly on the ground. I'm going to turn it into a game room, so I need to have footings done correctly so water doesn't run in. It's a real mess, but it should be cool when I get done. It will have a 14' celing everywhere except where I put in a 6' X 25' loft.

That really sucks Phil, sorry to hear about it.

Have you ever heard the phrase "no good deed goes un-punished?"

Phobia 03-03-2007 08:34 AM

HAHAHAHAHAHA - the DeWalt fairy brought me a gift in the night.

My impact driver was sitting on my dresser where I placed it during a hastened moment before my wife and I left for an appointment yesterday afternoon. Heh. I'm so relieved and I feel so bad pointing the finger.

As the thread title says, sometimes I'm not too bright (plus I've been huffing paint fumes).

HMc 03-03-2007 08:42 AM

i'll bet it's not the only "impact driver" in that bedroom eh phobes

That wrench wouldn't have done a thief much good unless he got the charger as well. Couldn't even pawn it. I've done almost 3000 satellite installs and I live in fear something will come up missing after I've been to the house. It hasn't happened though.

Funny how most people have no use for half rolls of RG6 cable
