countdown till bronco fan starts telling us big daddy is the best DT to ever play the game....3 2 1.....

I guess that 6th they received from DET was what they used... not sure.

I will be surprised if that happens, I'm not too impressed by the trade. I think he missed 7 games last year... he was drafted in 1994. Dude is old. Sure, he's a big mass of human on the d-line, but ... I dunno.

You know what's so funny about the Bly (who's got a little left in the tank, but doesn't really scare me) and big daddy signing is that bronco fans were all over this site saying how stupid the chiefs were for resigning Tony G because of his age. I'm not sure you were one of those thoghh MHM. Of course the funniest thing about that was the Broncos were continually listed as the team most intrested in him if he hit the open market.

This is the first time I have been able to say this in March, but the division is either going to be won by the Chiefs or Chargers next year.

Well, I'm sure the $ as it relates to the cap is a bit different with Gonzo and Big Daddy. I don't know what Bly's cap hit is...

Settle down ... nothing is written in stone just yet. There is so much left to be defined by the teams and who knows, Norv Turner could really turn things around for SD. :p

From where I'm sitting the Broncs seem to be doing the same thing the chiefs had done, that defense Lynch Bailey Bly Wilson is gonna get old real fast.

The Chiefs don't have a chance to win the division next year it will be between the Dolts and Donks, and between the two I'd take Shanny over Turner ten times outa ten.............god that makes me feel dirty.

beer bacon 03-03-2007 01:12 PM

The Chiefs are never going to win a game again. People need to come to grips with the fact that we are the worst team ever. Carl Peterson is the worst GM ever. Herm Edward is worst coach ever.

Our only hope is to go winless for the next three seasons, and then we are guaranteed to win at least a couple Super Bowls. That is only way to turn this team around. That is how teams get better. Just look at the Browns and 49ers.

Forsake all hope ye who enter here.

Blys cap number isn't that big because when he signed he was given a big bonus and a fronloaded contract, he got something like 25 mill in the first 2 years.

Trading a 6th rounder is nothing, you get a guy who'll contibute to your team for a 6th rounder it's a solid move.

Considering the Broncos may be trading for McGahee, that's out there now. And he'd be insanely good in that running system.....I'd hold off on making any claims like that.

Mile High Mania 03-03-2007 01:29 PM

I still think I'd rather have Thomas Jones over McGahee... is that pure insanity? I just think Willis may be more issues than he is worth, plus isn't Rosenhaus still his agent? That doesn't work well with Denver.
