Are you reeruned? Of course he would replace Gammon. We're not going to sign a long snapper to play FS.

I think so... plus if something bad happens, this guy can actually play in a game, where as Gammon would likely die.

Direckshun 03-04-2007 12:44 PM

According to the depth chart, Gammon's already been replaced by Ed Perry?

Careful now. The Chiefs does have history of changing players from their natural position to a completely different position.

"And now, the starting Free Safety for the 2007 Kansas City Chiefs, Jean-Philippe Darche!"

And Ed Perry could easily be replaced by someone else.

Seems to me Perry was the guy that struggled a couple of years ago when Gammon was injured.

Most team message boards are talking about signing great players today... we are talking about a possible long snapper!!! God why did you make me a Chiefs fan?

If Carl signs this guy, he is a Darchebag

Yeah, I think it was the Giants or Miami game that he struggled. I can't remember which one it was, but I do remember it.

You're right. The only reason that he's even on the depth chart is because he's under contract. Gammon's is not.

Sully 03-04-2007 12:53 PM

I'd like to keep Gammon, but obviously the Chiefs aren't calling my phone.

I can just see "Darche Bag" becoming a part of CP lexicon.

Direckshun 03-04-2007 12:53 PM

Wow.

Am I the only one here who didn't know Gammon was dropped?
