You can't make any argument for Croyle because the guy hasn't done a single thing. Well, he's done a couple things and most of them have been interceptions, but whatever. The jury's out on Croyle.
I have to say Cutler has more raw ability than Huard, but Cutler personally cost the Broncos more games last season than he did personally win, which cannot be said for Huard. Huard's a wily game manager, and reacts far better under pressure.
The only games Huard struggled through were the games where our OL was torched by Pittsburg and Miami (we're not counting last year's Denver game, since our playbook was about two pages thick). If we build our OL up, Huard should do a similar job that he did last year -- few mistakes, few huge plays, lots of decent-to-good playmaking.
But you can't really compare Cutler and Huard, the two are too different in abilities and the roles they play on the team. I do think Cutler vs. Croyle is going to be a better comparison to make once Brodie's the man, and I like Cutler's chances a lot more then.
