I'll agree for now.

Dang it, I knew I forgot something. But, it has to be true about Cutler, I read it on the Orange Mane. Some even said there is not any two players they would trade him for. :)

LMAO In all seriousness, it is going to be fun watching the evolution of the Brodie Croyle/Jay Cutler battles.

Huard should only be compared to other backups...oh I see....the Cutler bandwagon is unloading already

You can't make any argument for Croyle because the guy hasn't done a single thing. Well, he's done a couple things and most of them have been interceptions, but whatever. The jury's out on Croyle.

I have to say Cutler has more raw ability than Huard, but Cutler personally cost the Broncos more games last season than he did personally win, which cannot be said for Huard. Huard's a wily game manager, and reacts far better under pressure.

The only games Huard struggled through were the games where our OL was torched by Pittsburg and Miami (we're not counting last year's Denver game, since our playbook was about two pages thick). If we build our OL up, Huard should do a similar job that he did last year -- few mistakes, few huge plays, lots of decent-to-good playmaking.

But you can't really compare Cutler and Huard, the two are too different in abilities and the roles they play on the team. I do think Cutler vs. Croyle is going to be a better comparison to make once Brodie's the man, and I like Cutler's chances a lot more then.

Dee Brown over Jay Cutler

I'm going to miss all of those threads with ... Plummer > Green and vice versa. We need to address this quickly as I don't want these grand QB debates to be lost.

Hey here is a crazy idea....how about we let them play before we say who is better. You want to judge thier college careers. OK easy Croyle wins, but does that really mean any thing in the NFL?

There's no room for reality on the message board, sir.

Elvis Grbac > Brian Griese

Cutler is really good. I seriously doubt Croyle will ever be as good as Cutler is. He's going to have to make up the difference in talent with his brain. We can only hope Cutler is a dumbass like his predecessor.

CupidStunt 03-22-2007 05:57 PM

RIGHT NOW, Huard's better. But it won't last.

We'll see what Croyle has before starting that debate.
