Please make this happen, Moore.

I wonder what it would take to get Cedeno from the Cubs

I'm sure that this won't be popular, but I would be willing to move Teahan for the right SS.

I have to think that he is our most valuable trade candidate when you combine his ability to play 3B and the fact that he is so young and cheap right now.

That would actually make some sense with the log-jam of outfielders we may have at the AA-AAA level. I would ask for a hell of a lot, though; he is coming off a .290 season and only 25-years old (26 in September).

Man, i'd like to keep teahan unless there was a really good SS prospect thats almost a can't miss major leaguer. We just need someone that is real solid on defense and can hit or take a walk here and there.

How can the Blue Jays be asking a lot for McDonald? He's as bad a hitter as Berroa, and he's 33 years old. Very solid defender, but c'mon. My guess is that they simply don't want to lose him, as their SS position isn't much better than the Royals.

I'd love to get Aybar, but I'm assuming the Angels are grooming him to replace Orlando Cabrera. Wood's going nowhere.

Why not just MOVE Teahen to SS?

I'd rather trade DeJesus than Teahan.

Someone figure out what happened Ray Sanchez... I'm sure he's looking for a job.

Me too. I like De Jesus and all but he's not really spectacular at anything. Teahen has a chance to be a really good player.

I would much rather see German playing short than Berroa. He may not have the range but he brings alot more with the bat. I think you'd being getting more overall productivity. Just please flush Berroa!! Something, anything, SOMEBODY!

Halfcan 03-22-2007 10:20 PM

Berroa and Sweeny for somebody-anybody-please take them.

...and Teahen has been playing center a whole lot lately...

How in the world could they possibly pry Aybar or Wood from the Angels?

LA like Aybar so much that they have Wood playing 3b. Wood, strikeout problems aside, is a bigtime hitter (arguably as good as Butler but with some defensive ability).

In short, not a chance they get either guy.

Barmes, on the other hand, wouldn't be a bad pickup for him. He's not as good as his rookie year suggested, but he'll be a lot better than Berroa. He'd probably come on the cheap as well, Tulowitzki's gonna win that SS job in Colorado.
