KU football is an after thought. It's fans are like Charger fans who come late and leave early. It will never be nothing but a 2nd rate Big12 program.

Possibly. At least they have a football program, unlike Hillside High.

The funny part is that JuCo's can support football but WSU can't.

I understand that skip. I am not contesting the point. That being said your prostate is still swollen and KU football is still a skid mark on the underpants of the Big12. It's not even as good a program as Minnesota.

LOL! Did you have to stick your finger up his butt to know that?

The WSU football program never really recovered from this.

Why any half way intelligent WSU fan would talk smack about KU football, I have no idea.

I'm too young to really remember WSU football. I'm a KSU football fan.

I hear that program will be building bridges.

OK, most of this board knows you as a Shocker fan.
They were actually a pretty respectable team at times, pretty darn good prior to the plane crash.
The Tulsa "Golden Hurricane" LMAO rivalry was one I looked forward to most. Jumpy Gaethers was the last WSU player to make the NFL, the uncle to the asswipe that took out Trent Green.

Jumpy is a pretty good guy, and one of the most imposing physical specimens I have ever met in my life. One of the best athlete's I ever knew was Prince McJunkins - guy's body fat percentage was measured in negative numbers, and he was a black belt in Tae Kwan Do as well. There were a lot of good players down there, wanting to play for Coach Jeffries, but unfortunately, many had academic issues. There were good times, like when Don Dreher caught the touchdown pass vs. KU, and when we beat K-State right before the program got cancelled.

Fond memories of what it was like back in the day.

Umm, yeah and the stadium is still well kept for track and field events. .... I got nothing to add.

Glad you brought up Prince McJunkins, I had not heard that name in a while. I liked watching him play, fond memories is right.

That's ok....most of the current K-State football fans believe the program began in the 1990's.
