You said it yourself, Parker doesn't play fast.

I'm gonna have to agree with Go Chiefs on this one. The Patriots had absolutely nobody else to throw to last year. Tom Brady is going to have to throw to someone. They get in quality wide receivers Stallworth and Moss and look what they do, they cut him. They know he isn't any good. If you put Samie Parker as NE #1 receiver last year, he puts up the same numbers if not better.

Yes he is. I think before that he was cast out of San Diego. I think it would be best to steer clear of this cat, but Parker does suck a big one.

Brady would stop throwing to him since he catches 1 of 5 passes his way. Belicheck would have better sense than to keep this clown.

Your joking right? Parker couldn't catch the ball if you walked up to him and placed it in his ****ing hands

You guys are placing too much emphasis on drops. Drops is not really a relevant stat. Neither Caldwell nor Parker had more than 5 drops. Some of the best receivers lead the league in drops. And don't tell me that is because they get thrown to more, because per balls thrown at them they still lead in drops per attempt. Look at TO, one of the best receivers in the league. TO never could catch, he still is dominant. Randy Moss also averages a ton of drops per pass thrown as welll. It's more about route running than "catching". I agree Parker doesn't run the best routes, but Caldwell isn't any better. He hadn't done shit for the Chargers either, even playing in all of the games. He never had more than 350 yards until he was thrust into a role last year where the Patriots were forced throw to someone, anyone.

Difference is that those guys actually catch a pass every now and then. Parker doesn't get open very often, and when the qb is able to throw the ball his way, he usually drops it. It might be different if he made some plays and scored some touchdowns, but it seems like everything thrown his way is dropped. TO and Moss make plays, Parker just sucks
