Perfect.

SoCal would be about the closest thing to that...

I was surprised how long it took my pool to warm to a comfortable level earlier this year.

The only good thing about the end of summer is the start of football!

Mountain, cold weather guy born and raised. What good is the beach and women when my brain is being cooked even when naked he he.

But January and Feb are indeed very pleasant.

That's what I'm saying. I've been to the beach in fall/winter/early spring and while it might be warm enough to be out in the sun, generally the water's too damn cold.

Unless you're from up north. Those extremely pale folk think 70-degree water is just swell.

Yea.. I really crack up when I see their asses all in the Atlantic via Maine in Feb.

I love cold weather chilling out flirting with the hot girls at starbuck while surfing chiefs planet.

JBucc 09-05-2007 06:39 PM

I agree.

I love the summers here in Colorado. Don't have AC and there's probably only 2 weeks of the summer that I miss it. Temp drops 30+ degrees every night and all you need to do is crank up the attic fan.

Hell, even the winter is much better than KC.

Sorry about your miserable train ride though Tim. Have you ever considered taking a job out here in berbs?

Sure, I've considered it. Unfortunately, I'd have to take a big pay cut - to make decent money, I have to be downtown.

I'm much calmer now, BTW. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if I'd posted a thread like this every year about this time - after a hot nasty day in late August or early September when I've just finally run out of patience for it and snapped.

Dunit35 09-05-2007 06:49 PM

I hate the summer as well Fraz. I enjoy winter much more,

Got to turn on the a/c to keep cool in the summer. In the winter I'll just put on more clothes in the house to keep from paying that huge gas bill.

How espensive would it be to keep our 870 sq ft. house warm at around 72? I'm pretty sure we don't have good insulation either.

DomerNKC 09-05-2007 07:28 PM

i'll take the heat. That is all.

Thats a bit chilly. 72 for the hi, and 55 for the lo. You'd never need AC or heat...
