LMAO The idea of paying 1 player more than the whole rest of the team combined just makes me ROFL

Heh. Yeah, he's good. But I guess Wright has actually said that if the Mets want A-Rod, he will move over to 2nd to make the team better. Heck of a team player.

I wonder, since it is the Yankees, that they were trying to hold them hostage.

He won't see that much money anyways.

i have the faintest of feelings that A-Rod isnt going to break the alltime record, cause hes getting every single person affiliated with the MLB to hate his guts. Nobody has any respect for the dumbass mother ****ing prick!!

If he can't find a job, I'll give him $5 p/hr under the table to weed my flower beds.

Hey if you can get it go for it, you can say what you want doesn't mean you'll get it.

And why the hell would that make the players want a cap? It'll just show them damn there is more money out there for all of us.

jordan made over 33 mill a year in his last few years as a bull, IIRC. nobody complained about that.

(not that I'm FOR that huge of a contract: I'm not. I'm just saying, I'll never complain about a man trying to make as much money as possible: it's the american way)

It's not A-rod it's baseball, and basketball. Funny how they can watch a sport totally dominate the both of them, and still not try to put the same policies in place........Mind boggling.

Ebolapox 11-03-2007 09:30 PM

yep. although the nba at least TRIES to pay lip service to a salary cap. even though it's a joke.
