True as that is, no way in hell Croyle could have posted those numbers. Had he stayed in the game, it would have been a BLOWOUT.

The Lions offense scored only 1 touchdown in the first quarter. Nice job defense!

The Chiefs offense scored 3 touchdowns and the team still found a way to lose! :banghead:

Positives:
18 more yards and Bowe has 1000
Gonzo is in a class by himself
The team lost and with a loss next week could leapfrog NYJ into a top 3 draft pick.

Watch what you say about Croyle, there are people here that think he is the next coming of Brett Favre. But she does throw pretty good completions to the defense.

No, some people are willing to give a guy more than half a season before we call for his head.

He's making mistakes any QB that has started 6 games in the NFL would. He'll make some of the same mistakes next season. That's how it works. There's no instant gratification with NFL QB's.

Actually, Brodie's #s are better than Elway's at the same point in his career. He's actually doing better than most young QBs.

I believe in giving a person a chance to develop if they have talent. I've seen nothing spectacular come from Croyle. So, they put any QB they can muster and tag him as the future and I'm supposed to believe that because they tell me so. BS!!
The NFL is about talent not waiting 5 years and pissing seasons down the drain to find out he's not cut out for the job. Get someone that has some talent to begin with.

Remember, the job of the QB in BucBall is just manage the game. Today we threw 48x. NOT Herm's preference.

I hope that scouting career in the NFL works out well for you.

Thig Lyfe 12-23-2007 08:07 PM

Sippio woulda thrown for 500 and 6 touchdowns

You forgot to capitalize the IPPIO.

The way I see it I should do very well at it. All I have to do is get people with no talent and say that they're the future. People will believe me because they don't conclude talent from observations, they go off of what someone tells them.

Yes..Brodie has no talent and had no credentials coming out of Alabama.

He just owns every significant record at the school Joe Namath attended. Not very impressive.

Considering Croyle and Thigpen are hurt and Sippio is the emergency QB I would say that he gives us the only chance to win.

It'd hard for Croyle to throw for 300+ yards when the play calls are 0 - 1 yard patterns.

Let's be fair now, Huard got 9 yards per attempt and took WAY more shots down the field. I like Brodie, but he wasn't into the vertical game today. Huard threw for 304 yards in 2.5 quarters of play - and came into the game trailing 19-0.
