What should they do? Frisk the kids for cell phones? Don't underestimate the sneakiness of a high school student. No telling where they'd hide it if they had to.

I think many schools don't allow them but it's hard to search every kid that walks through the doors. Some schools only allow clear backpacks.

Yea it's the peds that are ruining these kids. :rolleyes: Good god dude, some of the things you post. The Feds are about 10k X more likely to ruin these kids because of this. Or maybe I should just go with the authorities. Kids are alo much more likely to post it on the web to begin with.

It's actually, technically, against the law for kids to have their cell phones on campus in Arkansas. Of course, the practice is different than the theory. It's assumed that they all have their phones on them. If they get caught using their phone during school hours, it gets confiscated and a parent must come up to retrieve it. Second offense is a Saturday school.

Even though it's against the law, as soon as the last bell rings, every kid is pulling out a cell phone and making calls.

I wish i had cell phones back when in high school. how many days of bordom just sitting there doing nothing. Plus you had to drive around to find parties and play phone tag.

Another thing: take your kids phone up when they go to bed, if you want them to get a decent night's sleep:
