I'd gladly take Crabtree in that position..or Oher.

I'd rather have a beefcake line or a pimp WR corps than Tim Tebow. I'd rather have Thigpen back there chuckin the ball than Tebow.

Croyle has failed already, in not winning a single game yet.

dj56dt58 05-12-2008 11:56 AM

so with the first overall pick, we are taking a 2nd rounder?

Yeah, he should have just blocked for himself, ran the ball, and caught all of his own passes...

Brodie definately didn't wow anybody last year, but it's absurd to say he's a failure because he didn't win with last years offensive squad.

Do you even realize how terrible the Chiefs running game was last year?

Ridiculous..a terrible running game is a direct reflection of your offensive line.

I agree.

I've always thought Tebow was going to have to be one of those guys who switches positions when he gets to the NFL.

He's in a spread offense, seems like all you hear about is how big/strong of a runner he is.

I'm not convinced he's anything more than just a running QB in a college friendly scoring system.

Yep..and he throws the ball like a shotput...just ungodly ugly.

Exactly. This guy has absolutely no credibility IMO.

Tribal Warfare 05-12-2008 12:16 PM

Nobrainer, I'd take Oher

Croyle had 9 chances to win 1 game. He did not, that is a failure.
The same team won games before Croyle took center stage with an old, beat up, back up QB. I can't believe some of you guys are standing up for a QB that hasn't even proved that he can win a game in the NFL yet.

Like Elway and Aikman are complete busts and failures when they were starting out, huh

You had 2 chances to make 1 valid point.

Fail.

Larry Johnson anyone? Brodie was kind of without his service for his starts...that might have been an issue. Just maybe. And it doesn't matter if he was at top form last year, teams gameplanned LJ, and when he went down they sure as hell weren't going to gameplan Harris or Smith.

HolmeZz 05-12-2008 12:29 PM

As it stands right now, I go with Oher or Crabtree if we had #1.
