I was really surprised he retired in the first place. Coming up short of the superbowl, I thought, would pretty much solidify his not retiring. As close as they got.

He's better than 75% QB's that are in the NFL currently

I have always liked the guy, heck as much as I can like a player from another team. This act is getting old, and I think it is unfair to the team. If I was Rodgers I would say enough is enough trade me.

Oh great now there's gonna be hundreds of " we should sign Brett Farve "Threads now

RustShack 07-11-2008 02:19 PM

Carl will find a way to bring in Joe Monta... I mean Brett Favre.

The Franchise 07-11-2008 02:20 PM

The Bucs will probably sign him to compete with their other 12 QBs.

Rooster 07-11-2008 02:22 PM

I wish he would just hang them up. He has nothing else to prove IMO.

Who cares if he has anything to prove. The guy just likes to play.

I can't remember what I was watching yesterday,I think it was NFL Network but anyways someone had said that The Bucs should try and sign Farve and then trade Garcia to the vikes....

RustShack 07-11-2008 02:23 PM

Maybe he wants to extend his interception record. Or just doesn't want his last NFL pass to be a game losing interception.

My money is on the Vikes. They have a very good team with no QB. Plus it's a FU to a division rival.

I thought that but then I thought that maybe the Packers will make a deal with Favre that they'll release him if he agrees not to sign with a team in the NFC North. They have about as much cap room as us....so they could just say screw it and hold onto him.
