I'm sure this is posted in jest, but kickers don't need to gel with anyone but the holder. They don't need to learn a playbook. They don't to pick up man or zone assignments. They are a singular commodity that can be plugged into a system at any point in its development.

This is a good move. Hopefully they lock him up for an extension in the season so we don't have to play kicker carousel every freaking year.
