This thread reminds me that there's another very sad aspect to this insane walrus ***** called the Chiefs' 2008 season ... with the prospects of turning things around being so bleak (and growing bleaker by the week...er), it's likely that TG will hang it up after this year. Or, he will request a trade. As has been stated on numerous occasions by posters both wise and clockwise, he has no reason to hang around this group of morons any longer than he has to ... especially when things look like they're not going to improve anytime soon.

I wonder how much Kansas City pussy Tony Gonzalez plowed over the last 10 years.

SBK 09-19-2008 03:20 PM

Gonzo has way too much F You money to piss around in coaching.

Now, if it's what he really wanted to do perhaps, but who actually thinks he'd want to do that?

Mr. Fax hush , don't talk about Mush Mouth like that, somebody will call you a RACIST.

I'm not sure I'd want "I coached Kansas City's Tight Ends" on my resume.

He's gonna be set for life. Why would he want to work after football?

To avoid boredom? stay close to the game? I dunno, people have done crazier stuff. BTW, I said as a receivers coach! Hands, route-running and blocking. TG has it covered.

Hammock Parties 09-19-2008 04:25 PM

I think less of you for suggesting this possibility.

Ah, he's just a kid living in Montana. He probably doesn't know what it's like to have millions of dollars at his disposal, have a smokin' hot wife, live in one of the nicest beach communities in world and have unlimited possibilities in life.

Most don't.

Agreed. Superstar players dont become coaches. They dont need to.

2nd tier players usually become coaches: Jason Garrett, Herm Edwards, Schottenheimer, etc....

Run. Mike Singletary is coming to rip your head off.

CoMoChief 09-19-2008 05:34 PM

TG isn't going into sports media coverage.

If anything maybe a celeb role or something on a reality TV show like Dancing with the Stars.

He's gonna take his money......October and disappear into San Diego somewhere.
