Myron Rolle? Really?

I think he might be a 2nd rounder because of measurables, but he's been completely unproductive at FSU.

It probably doesn't hurt that he'll likely get a perfect wonderlic score.

and maybe not even play pro ball...

That's a little overblown, he constantly said academics were important out of high school then went to FSU...he's extremely smart sure which means he likely realizes he can get paid and still take classes in the offseason.

Yep. I can hardly find humor in statements like that anymore.

This entire fanbase is obsessed with O-Linemen and FB's.

I swear to god if some of our fans were drafting last year, they would have taken 9 linemen and Owen Schmitt.

If he plays well in this game, I'll wipe the slate clean, and evaluate him with an objective view.

The statement made made by PhillyChiefsfan is valid, and an all-world line with Oher and Albert would be awesome.

Halfcan 09-27-2008 04:03 PM

we need to fix the O line before throwing a rookie QB in there

Yep, let's declare Oher is going to be all-world before he plays a snap in the NFL.

And playing Albert this year at LT would have been a complete waste of time.

If we are picking that high, with Oher gone, with Rey Maualuga available and with What I have seen so far of Stafford, I would be really pissed. Stafford has so far looked like he should still be there when we pick in the 2nd round.

Yep, let's keep passing on good QBs. We should just draft O-line for the next 5 years to help things out.

Thanks Herm.

Yep, Maualuga looked like a difference maker the other night against Oegon State.

There is that thing called Free Agency-and I believe teams are allowed to trade with other teams.

I took your post to mean you wanted to fix the Oline instead of getting a rookie QB.

My mistake.

Who other than St. Louis can finish with a worse record realistically? Stafford should be there for us. If he comes out and assuming he doesn't bomb the Wonderlic, seems like we'd have to take him -- not just because we need a QB, but because top pick QBs sell seats.

No, but he has in all other games that I have watched him in. He looks like he could be another Willie Lanier for us. I have watched Stafford in 3 games (granted, not enough) but I have not seen a top 10 pick. In all honesty I was pretty impressed today with Texas' Colt McCoy. Maybe we can get Oher or Maualuga in the first and someone like him in the 2nd or 3rd.
