Well that didn't take long.

Why was the Matt Jones cocaine incident put on page 12 of the sports section??.

Because Matt Jones doesn't have a history of being a ****ing asshole, punching women and hasn't had a police record that unfolds to be a mile long.

Just a guess though.

I will agree that the media tends to blow things up when its a black athlete. UNfortunately, thats how the media operates these days. Especially when its a huge "Lightening Rod" like Pacman.

Actually I hadn't planned on going there.

My point was simply that if Goodell is going to defer to the conditions of Jones' probation... He should wait to suspend him after it has been determined that he did in fact violate his probation.

And vail Portis has been nothing but a positive for Washington.

Positively ghetto. They can have him, him and his title belt didn't fit with Shanny's program. Champ on the other hand is all good.
Portis learned a lesson: no one is above getting moved in the NFL if you cross your coach.

so the body guards can't keep him on the straight and narrow.... hmmm

Sounds like the Cowgirls have real issues and apparently they were NOT real clear with him on what he could/could not do....

**** that......he was specifically told that if he had ANY run ins with the law, he would get suspended. I like this hard nosed approach.

Its very clear that Pacman can't stay out of trouble. His ass should be in jail. People seem to forget that he was involved in a ****ing shooting where a guy almost lost his life.

Matt Jones is a white guy?

Bullshit. Goodell put the responsibility square on Pac's shoulders to avoid even the slightest appearance of impropriety. He failed miserably and now must take responsibility for his actions.

If you fail to live up to your responsibilities you lose priveleges. Our children are taught this from a very young age. Clearly PacMan doesn't quite grasp the concept or he just doesn't care.

You mean like Frank Gore?
Or Clinton Portis?

Or like a half-dozen other U alumns who've never been in trouble?

Someones gotta say it. I'm not racist either.........theres a true difference between being black and being thugged out n*****

The guy comes out of the ghetto and its one of those instances where you can take Pacman out of the hood.......but you cant take the hood out of pacman.

Or maybe it was a easy choice considering that a Grade A corner is > than a grade A RB? Especially in a system that continues to make runners look better than they appear.

From my understanding he did violate the terms on his probation because alcohol was involved.

I'm going to ask you to clarify which part of my commentary is bullshit.

Roger Goodell's reinstatement stipulated that he obey all three conditions of his probation, yes?

It has not been determined that he violated his probation, yes?

Those are facts sir. Dispute them if you'd like, but you'd only be calling your own credibility into question.

And I'm probably just guessing that you wouldn't let that shit fly out of your mouth if you were around a group of Black people.

That hasn't been determined.
Police only said that they believed alcohol may have been involved.
