But moving up and down the draft board on draft day is something we have seen a lot, so don't be surprised if Pioli moves back in the first round and picks up some additional picks. |

No thanks. Would have loved to give Allen the contract we gave LJ, but that ended up to be what is so far the dumbest move in Chiefs recent history besides drafting Junior Siavii in the 2nd rd or drafting Ryan Sims.....correction........trading up to get him.

normally i would say that Peppers is too old for that kind of money but .........
1. the Chiefs have tons of cap room and could actually front load more of the contract so it wouldn't hurt them long term as much. 2. finding another RDE this year is gonna be very, very difficult and the Chief REALLY need one. A new coaching staff,Stafford/Sanchez at #3 and Peppers in FA could do wonders for the team ...... huge. |
**** it you only live once.

Where are all the folks who WANTED Pepper's and Suggs NOW?

I would love it if we signed him. Just think, we get a great deal for Allen, have a bad year that results in 3rd pick in the draft, Carl being replaced by Pioli, and hopefully Herm gone as well. Then we replace Allen without spending picks. That would be a win, win, win for the Chiefs.

At 28 this is one of those guys you bring in to put you over the top or fill a weakness on an otherwise complete team. The Chiefs are at the very bottom and very incomplete.
Won't happen. Feel free to dream though. |

I think Peppers just wants to wind up in Tampa Bay so that he can play with Ryan Sims again; you know, without Sims in college, Peppers wouldn't be the DE that he is today. Peppers wants to relive the glory days and then get the monster contract.
