Seems to me like MU can never win six games in a row away from there home court!

I would love for MU to win, but I just dont see how they stay within 10 points of Memphis. Mizzous offense is just too inconsistent. It's like we have no offensive system at all, there are no plays being run. We cant play like that against an elite team like Memphis. Defensively, we might be able to match them, but unless our offense is able to put some points on the board and learn how to shoot, we cant win. But Im all about an upset baby!!

This is seriously all the discussion for this article?
Where are all you guys. I don't think any real destiny has happened yet. You guys did well in the regular season (awesome at home), you guys beat who you were supposed to beat in the Big 12 tournament while other teams (including mine) faltered. The only real destiny I can see is the 4 point lead thing. That was pretty tough to overcome. The rest of it, you guys were just playin ball. If you guys lose, I'd be hatemailing this poser for jinxing you. Posted via Mobile Device |
Agreed. It is premature, stupid and bad karma.

With that said, I'm quite nervous about the Memphis game. |
Hi, I'm the cart.
You may not recognize me, as I seem to have passed the horse. |
Destined to make the SS? Absolutely. EE? fraid not.

Good article. I'm surprised Mizzou is in the top 35 in FG% (and that Memphis is so low). They'll have to really try hard to be patient in their halfcourt offense. Looking forward to watching it... glad it's not on until 9:40 here, right after hockey.
Assuming at least one of them loses, this place is going to get brutal this weekend, especially if Mizzou advances further than Kansas. :( |
THE STARTING FIVE
Each week from now through the end of the season, PowerMizzou.com will honor the top Tiger basketball players in a feature called The Starting Five. This week, honor the five Tigers who had the best weekend while Mizzou moved on to the Sweet 16. http://missouri.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=927658 |
