I probably won't watch the movie now that my question is answered

Well, you should.:(

I never watched movies growing up at all. So I'm really behind in terms of ones that everyone seems to enjoy. Hell, I didn't see Blazing Saddles until last week.

I'd pretty much prefer to watch a new one if I watch one at all, and it should be one that I'm excited to see. I've caught a couple of good movies "by accident" like if my wife brings one home because her friends recommended it. That's how I saw There Will Be Blood, which is now one of my favorites. After I saw that one, I saw No Country For Old Men for comparison, because that's what everybody was doing.

As far as movies like Tombstone go, though, I'm sure it's good. I don't doubt that. It's just I don't really have the desire to see something like that now, unless it just kind of happens.

I can see that. It's too bad you have missed so many good ones though. I hope you accidentally run across several of them in the future.:thumb:

Of those you mentioned you missed, check out Fight Club then the Rocky movies.

So SNR is leaving forever? What did I miss?

No, I was just questioning proper protocol for leaving forever. You're free, however, to make unfair judgements regarding how much fun I'm actually having here and if I will be eventually leaving the planet forever.

Due to the excessive mancard revokations, you are hereby asked to leave until you can pass the mancard test.

P.S. Start your studies with Tombstone. It is somewhat factual.

This is an outrage. I've given my soul to this community! I should leave forever if this is how I'm going to get treated after years of quality posting!

Just watch it, it's a good movie. Everyone loves you again after you've watched it:

That sound byte is used at the close of "The Border Patrol" on 810. Well, at least it was the last time I was listening.

My thoughts on Tombstone;

Val Kilmer played a great Doc Holiday.

Kurt Russell plays a better Wyatt Earp than Kevin Coster.

Am I missing something? WTF is this from? And why the hell is everybody posting it all the time? Is this an internet thing or just a Chiefsplanet thing?

SNR...:shake:

Sure-Oz 04-08-2009 07:05 AM

great movie, own the directors cut dvd

Abba-Dabba 04-08-2009 07:23 AM

I haven't seen Tombstone, and have no desire to do so either. If that makes me lose my man card, oh well.

I gain it back just because I have seen 84 Charlie MoPic. Not many people can say that.
