ya, I remember getting a free magazine subscription when I bought something at best buy, the clerk just asked if I want to sign up for a free magazine subscription just for shopping there. I said sure, picked out the rolling stone and after a while I realized they were charging my credit card that I used at best buy for the magazines. Shoulda seen it coming, but I didn;t.

They are supposed to tell you at the register that is going to happen after your free period is over.

Has anyone tried this before ?

I think I tried something similar where they just send you the bill.

I don't know why, but I suddenly started receiving Maxim for free. I didn't sign up for it or anything. It pretty much just goes straight into the recycle bin. I try to read it now and again, but I can physically feel myself getting stupider with every page. Have you ever tried to read their profiles of the hoes that they cover in those pages? They don't even sound half-way believable. It's just some crap that the girl's publicist and the writer threw together before deadline.

Maxim pairs the unparalleled thrill of partially clothed women with the intellectually stimulating writing of a drunken frat boy.
