I can't remember Jerry Rice ever dropping a ball...

He dropped a number of balls in his rookie season, but after that he was money.

I swear I remember Rice dropping a key ball against the Chiefs as a Raider.

This is my hope. I saw Fitzgerald improve from the 2007 season to the 2008 season, and I couldn't believe it. I think Haley could make Jesus better at what he did. Bowe is gonna have a monster year.

Correct. He had a sure touchdown bounce right off his hands. Had the corner beat by 3+ yards, too.

Jerry Rice is #1 in any list of WR's.

I'm not old enough to have seen either on anything but a highlight reel, but from what I've read and seen on said highlight reels, give me otis taylor any day of the week and the next monday.

Biletnikoff was a good enough player for me to despise him for about 40 years now. But he was no Otis Taylor.

The list wasn't about best receiver. It was about the best hands.

Looks like a couple of people need to fess up about their votes and take the neg rep beatings they so richly deserve. And after that you can go to your rooms and think about what you've done.

Some of my favorite Planeteers are Raider fans. I don't hold it against them, no more than I would a hare lip or a club foot. It's not their fault.

And I wouldn't neg rep them for their votes. I prefer public ridicule. :D

What, no Lake Dawson?

I would say the guy that holds every record had pretty damm good hands.

KCChiefsMan 07-25-2009 01:40 PM

I don't have a problem with Fitzgerald being on the list, when it's all said and done for him he will go down as one of the all time greats

Bowser 07-25-2009 01:43 PM

I really thought he won the Super Bowl (and MVP) with this catch and run....
