It's because I'm not wrong. They could play him right tackle. It doesn't make it his natural position in a 4-3. You are talking about Al Davis, FFS. Think about that for a minute.

Here, from another source, if you don't believe me:

1) Seymour's Chance To Thrive: When he was put in a rotation to save miles on his body, Seymour publicly said he wanted to play more in passing situations. With that wish granted, he was employed often as a 3-technique tackle (shading the outside shoulder of the guard) in the team's nickel and dime packages, and led the Patriots with eight sacks.

Oakland's not an ideal situation for any player, because of the mess that franchise has become, but Seymour should be able to get upfield and use his athleticism more as a full-time 3-technique tackle instead of playing as a 5-technique end. That will help save his body, in a less-physically demanding role, and set up a big contract (if the Raiders don't give it to him now).

Dude, I simply asked what position he would play in Oakland and you jumped down my throat saying he's a DT and blah blah blah you're an idiot blah blah blah...

Looks like you're not the genius you think you are.

Just saying.

No, it's just that me and any reputable sports outlet who was asked said he would play the position he was drafted to play--3 technique. Al Davis' incompetence does not mean that's the position he would play in a 4-3 for anyone else.

Again, Bartee was a safety who was played at corner. Bush is a WR who plays RB, Gonzalez was a TE who really played WR the last half of last year.

I know you think that being obtuse will help your argument, but all it does is reflect how little you know.

I probably wouldn't have taken Vernon (lol) Gholston with the #1 when my QB's were Chad Henne and eventually Chad Pennington...but what do I know?

Vernon Gholston...

LMAO

Hootie 09-14-2009 09:17 PM

You take Gholston over Ryan when your team has a dire need for a QB...

You take Sanchez over anyone else when your team traded an early 2nd for a QB that same offseason.

Yeah dude, you're a genius!

I forgot that we always judged draft picks after one year.

If that's the case, Hali > Mario Williams.

Or we could go with your litany of "great" QBs. Huard, Thigpen, or your asinine claim that Chris Johnson is the best RB in the NFL.

Or we could go with your prediction that Flowers absence would have no affect on the game yesterday, or that the Ravens would be held under 100 (or was it 190) yards rushing. Or that Priest Holmes would never carry the ball again. Blah, blah blah.

You are the George Costanza of this board.

Yeah dude, you're a genius!

Yeah, that Sanchez kid really sucks, too.

What I still don't understand is why you've got such a hardon for me? Do you want me to pee on you or something? Cause I'll send you a cup of piss in the mail.

Hootie 09-14-2009 09:22 PM

Vernon Gholston will never be good...

and the Chiefs didn't lose the game because of the running attack...they lost because they couldn't sustain an offensive drive...the only reason they started running the ball against us at will was because we were worn the **** out...

No team has ran more offensive plays against us since 1989 or something.

We had no pass rush...and Flacco picked the secondary apart with a play-action that they didn't even have to establish a run to get...

Obviously the Ravens gameplanned to pass on us...as evidenced by the whole first half.

And yeah, Priest Holmes got like 50 carries before he ****ed up his spine again...wow, he overcame amazing odds to start one game before he gets hurt again....

Whooopeee!

Vernon Gholston over Matt Ryan? LMAO

I think if you just pwned me this bad, I would just go home and leave Chiefsplanet for awhile....

That was a serious beat down you just issued...

Game, Set, Match

Hootie 09-14-2009 09:25 PM

How did he own me?

Has anyone seen Chris Johnson run? And I don't really know where I said that...I might have...I am not very high on running backs in general...but other than AP...who is better than Chris Johnson? He's the next Marshall Faulk.

Hootie 09-14-2009 09:28 PM

Game, Set, Match?

The dude mocked me for asking where Seymour would play for Oakland. He was 100% wrong (and his only rebuttal was that all the "experts" agreed)...

Which is another point...Hamas and Mecca and all those guys think they know everything...but they just cherry pick shit from their favorite "experts" online...

and the dude took Gholston #1 overall over Matt Ryan for the Dolphins...and then when the Chiefs trade for Cassel...he decides it's a good move to take Sanchez at #3...essentially spending your two top, high picks on two franchise QB's...

Yeah, he's brilliant!

(and he still thinks Carson Palmer is a franchise caliber QB LMAO)

In case you didn't notice, genious, he played inside for large chunks in that half. He played at DE when Kelly was in the game.

So...

when I asked where he was going to play...it wasn't as obvious as you made it out to be, correct?

Can't be right every time guy, no big deal.

On an aside from the slapfest going on in this thread.....the Chargers front 7 looks like shite....

Oakland's OLine is looking sort of impressive, but I can't tell if that's because San Diego isn't showing up, or if they've actually improved. I can't say I'm completely surprised, I didn't think SD was that good, and I thought Oaktown was a dark horse for the division. I still can't believe the Donkeys got that kind of lucky yesterday....CIN must be really porous on the OLine, b/c I had trouble digesting how low that score was, I figured DEN to get rocked.

However, for what it's worth, I'm pretty sure the Faid's playbook in the first half resembled the first Tecmo Bowl. Four Offensive plays, 4 Defensive...and I'm officially unhappy that Seymour is out there.

wrong

faiders still suck
