In Kansas city, training wheels aren't often needed. That's a Sandy Eggo lesson of need.

I've got two bad knees, so I hate the repititious stand-up/sit-down drill. I just need to stay at home. Won't take the kids or wife due to the foul language.

Chargers fans don't want to stand up because they might spill their $14 Pina Colada if they move around and make noise. Also, no telling if your Kangol hat might slip off and get dusty in the heat of the moment.

**** those kinds of fans. People in the upper level know how to get down. Get drunk. Get loud. Harass anyone over the age of 4 wearing an opposing team jersey.

I disagree. I went to the Thanksgiving game years ago and got told to sit down in the upper level. I thought, WFT this is the rowdy Arrowhead I've seen on TV?? What a bunch of lame asses.

F' um.

I went to the Turkey Day Bronco game and everyone was so pumped, yelling and screaming, standing of course. The stadium seamed to be shaking underfoot. That's why you pay for the ticket and not watch from home.

That was the last really cool day to be a Chiefs fan that we have seen in a while.

The only time I care at all is when I'm using borrowed season tickets and don't want to reflect negatively on them, however I come to a football game to leave with no voice and a headache.

If they're not jackasses about it, I'll be polite about disagreeing with their point of view.

if you want to sit and watch, get club seats or stay home.

Thats actually what brought this up. I sold my Steelers tickets to a co-worker and the people around him gave him and his family shit the entire time for standing on the big plays. (These are front row tickets so when the ball gets to the other side of the field it's a little hard to see sitting down).

He said everyone was extremly rude, even going to lengths and shouting "I'm going to f*** your girl".

I only got his side of the story, but It doesn't make me happy.

Wasn't that way where I sat, I thought the place was gonna come unglued.

Thinking back though, when it was quiet time it got damn quiet. Both times I've seen a game @ Arrowhead it looked like everyone met out in the parking lot before hand and practiced this stuff.

I haven't been to Arrowhead enough to know if there's a difference, but I can tell you at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln there is. I sat 7 rows up in the north end zone for over 10 years and never once heard anyone complaining about people standing, but yet I hear stories all the time about it happening in other areas of the stadium.

As far as I'm concerned, if you want to sit through the whole game, stay the hell home.

stevieray 11-25-2009 09:55 AM

..you try busting an Elvis move sitting down.

Bugeater 11-25-2009 09:56 AM

OK, who is the pussbag that voted for "sit down and be quiet"? They need to be banished from the Planet.
