The way to watch this IMHO is to DVR it then skip through the many parts you find boring, redundant, or too filled with Sting's facial hair.
There are some damn fine moments you just have to sift through some chaff to get to the wheat.

I'm waiting for the book to come out.

Reorder the list by ego and by entertainment value... Ego #1 - Sting, Entertainment Value #1 - Hard to tell

Was that the part where he played the guitar as though it were a turn table, by scratching on it? He was okay but IMHO Morello was a 2nd class citizen compared to the guitar players on stage that night.

Was Johnny Bravo there??

U2 was the best part of the show. Possibly because they are currently on tour and were playing tighter than other acts. Played with Springstein, BEP and Jagger.

Morello shouldn't be compared to the others IMO he brought a sound to an era (an era that was pretty shitty mind you) that others had to use turn tables to mimic. I am sure he would be plenty good to run blues scales all night long in I IV V style, but he is or was more interested in pushing effects with his guitar.

I was a big RAM fan, liked their sound and style even if their message was over the top. I hear what you are saying about them bringing a different sound.

Are you saying BB King simply runs blues scales all night long in I IV V style and that Morello could play the blues as well as King?

Morello was nice as a one-song stand-in but IMO Jeff Beck he never will be.
