I'm just not a big fan.

As Hamas said, he has a decent arm, decent accuracy, but shit leadership. I really want a franchise guy, but he's not it either.

Probably a good comparison. Was there every anyone smarter who sounded as dumb as Kosar, though?

WilliamTheIrish 12-13-2009 06:57 PM

Yep. we're already the AFC version of the Lions. Keep drafting until we hit on a QB.

Seriously, this loss today took away my heart. I know the team is horrible, but I've been around a long time and this is honestly the worst squad I've ever seen. Cassel reminded me of watching Frank F'ing Seurer under center after the strike.

I honestly think we should take the Braveheart approach next year.

"Hold..........Hold........Hold......."

Then pull the trigger in 2011/2012.

Whatever it takes.

LMAO.

The single most brutal indictment of this sack of shit.

I would. We have been in the top 5 three years running now. One of those times you have to make a big splash.

You mean like putting talent around the QB position before getting a QB? That'd be a wonderful idea. Lets be honest as much as Cassel sucks if there was indeed some talent this is a 6-7 win team and you would be at war with the true fans :D

Hammock Parties 12-13-2009 07:02 PM

I'd just as soon wait to discuss quarterbacks until we give up on Cassel. And that's gonna be at least two more years IMO.

So let's hope we can put together the best offensive line in the game for the poor man's TrINT Green.

This might be a smart approach in round 1.

Berry here.

But I think we must do two things: try to acquire a FA signal caller, perhaps try to work a trade, AND draft a n00b with upside. Both need to happen to build for the future and to inspire immediate competition.

I'm hoping Locker stays at UW and gets another year under Sarkesian while spending the 3 million Anaheim gave him from the MLB draft. By the end of next year, if Cassel leads us to another top 5 pick he'll be prime for the picking and won't be nearly the project he is now. Locker has the mechanics, and the skill set to be a stud QB in the NFL, and Sark has done a magnificent job to this point.

Done. The mother****er sucks.

The search for the answer must begin immediately and in earnest.

Good point...maybe one more year wouldn't hurt.

I'd still take him if he came out this year though.

I remember he only started two games but was the worst NFL QB I had ever seen. All of our home games were blacked out in those days so only the people in attendance got to see how truly shitty Frank Seurer was.

He started two games at home. The one I saw was against the Jets, where he got picked 3 times and sacked about 6 times. I never thought I'd see another Chiefs team that would be that bad.
