Yeah, he was the newscaster I remember watching when I was a kid and he was a nice guy - I remember having a long conversation with him while we waited in line to see Predator at the theater across from the Metro North mall.

Anschutz and Don Fortune and Fred Brosky were all minor KC celebrities in my pre-teen years -- probably Brosky was the highest profile with his "Bowling For Dollars" and smiley face sun decals...I think Brosky had a fan club even.

I remember when he did 41 Treehouse Lane too...until I think he was convicted of exposing himself or molestation or something...but I could be wrong.
